Ultimately it boils down to personal preference and because i know it can be hard figuring out where to start when cutting out paper to see what you like best i thought.
If it is hanging above a sofa make sure there is at least 6 12 inches between the top of the sofa and the piece of art.
Since a queen size bed is 60 inches wide that leaves you with something 36 48 inches wide.
The result is a room that feels underwhelming or incomplete.
The rule of thumb is that your finished art hanging above anypiece of furniture should be 60 80 the width of said furniture.
The best size round mirror for over your bed is going to vary depending upon the height of your headboard and your ceilings but the mirror in our guest room is 32 in diameter to give you a ballpark to work from.
These are some of my favorite round mirrors that are in the 28 32 range.
However accent art can go as small as 1 2 the width of the furniture beneath the art.
