Should I Get A Wood Or Mesh Floor Trailer

My buddy says i should use u bolts and have them around the supports under the mesh floor.

Should i get a wood or mesh floor trailer.

I let them float and expand contract as they need. The last floor i put in this trailer was near 20 years ago did it the same way. My question is have any of you added ply over the mesh floor. Also i need to add wheel chocks too.

How to install treated wood on trailer floors. The mesh did start to sag causing alot of headaches with trying to keep the motorcycles cinched down properly.
